Informed Recruitment is a specialist provider of resources to the Construction & Property Technology markets, and we are delighted to partner with a Social Enterprise undertaking an exciting expansion and looking to bolster their customer service provision. The objective of the role is to support department heads to ensure outstanding customer services are provided to customers and supply chain partners.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Engaging with and supporting members
- Drafting, sending, tracking and chasing new membership packs, as well as member review packs for existing members
- Compiling management, operational, and supply chain reports
- Identifying potential new members as well as conducting competitor analysis
- Attending member and operational meetings
- Monitoring spend
- Attending conferences and events
- Drafting social media content and managing bulk email communications
- Maintaining audit files
- Taking ownership of the accounts of smaller members
- Supporting contract pack creation
- Identifying additional opportunities to support members
Background
- Customer Services / Customer Success / Account Management – A successful track record as an account management, customer success, or customer service management professional with a successful track record of looking after customers, building relationships, and promoting services.
- Office Manager – Experience in taking responsibility for the smooth running of office processes and documentation to provide a seamless and efficient customer experience.
- Property background – Experience as a Social Housing professional with subject matter expertise in Assets, Property Services, Development, or Building Safety looking for a new challenge.
- Supply Chain / Merchants – Experience working within the supply chain providing materials, goods, and services to the Housing, Construction, Building Safety, Asset Management, and/or Property services sectors with knowledge of the relevant goods, services, prices, and people.
- Construction and Development – Managing customer service, accounts, or administration for construction companies, development & regeneration, or modular builders.
Essential Skills
- Self-starter with a positive approach and a background in customer services or account management.
- A consultative approach based on looking after customers, building positive relationships, and converting ideas into action and results.
- Strong administrative skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Good understanding of creating value and managing costs.
- Ability to engage with prospective customers at conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Strong MS Office skills.
Highly Desirable / Will Strengthen Application
- Experience in the current Construction or Property Asset Management market(s), including current issues within development, compliance, building safety, property services, construction, and/or property asset management.
- Base understanding of procurement.
As an individual you will be an excellent communicator, adept at liaising at all levels with a variety of stakeholders. You will also be highly analytical with a keen eye for problem solving and meticulous attention to detail and record keeping. This role is hybrid based, with some time spent in an office in Birmingham, some time working from home, and other team members located in South Birmingham and Worcestershire.
