Working within a small team of both internal and external Draughtspersons/Setter Outs, the appropriate candidate will be working closely with the Assistant Works Manager for interpreting technical drawings and then producing technical 2D/3D drawings through AutoCAD, for customer approval. Once approved, all information is to then be booked out onto the shop floor to prepare for manufacturing.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Experience in designing to manufacture.
- Experience with joinery and or metalwork.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and convert to a working document.
Software
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
