Location: Biggleswade

Salary: Up to £35,000 (8am–4.30pm) or Up to £40,000 (7am–4.30pm) Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.

Role Overview

Mobile Vehicle Technician role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks. Ideal for those seeking a new industry in a field‑based role. Suitable for candidates experienced with cars, plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis.
  • Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area.
  • Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
  • Store spares in van overnight.

Requirements:

  • Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment; automotive technicians/motor trade also suitable.
  • Engine diagnostics and basic electrical skills.
  • Ideally hold a Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject.
