As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will step into classrooms to support pupils aged 2‑19 with a wide range of complex needs, including severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and autism. You will work closely with class teams to deliver personalised activities, communication support, and life‑skills development that help each learner progress toward greater independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide flexible classroom support, adapting quickly to different age groups and learning needs.

- Support communication using a Total Communication approach.
- Help pupils develop essential life skills such as self‑care, social interaction, and independence.
- Offer physical, sensory, and mobility assistance where required.
