Are you a confident and dedicated Maths Teacher ready to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons that promote progress and achievement? Reeson Education are seeking a skilled Maths Teacher to work in a focused and supportive school environment in Doncaster (DN5) starting from September 2026. This role is ideal for a teacher who can deliver structured and engaging Maths lessons while maintaining high expectations and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

About the Maths Teacher Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver high-quality Maths lessons across a range of abilities, helping pupils build confidence, problem-solving skills, and strong mathematical understanding. You will maintain clear routines, encourage positive behaviour, and create a productive learning environment that supports academic success.

Key Responsibilities as Maths Teacher

  • Structured Maths Teaching: Deliver engaging and well-planned Maths lessons tailored to student needs.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain positive behaviour, routines, and high expectations within the classroom.
  • Targeted Support: Provide additional guidance and intervention to support student progress and attainment.
  • Progress Monitoring: Assess, monitor, and track pupil achievement and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and school leaders to support student development.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Maths within mainstream, SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision settings is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A positive, organised, and resilient approach to teaching.
  • An enhanced DBS on the updated service or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
