Reeson Education are seeking a skilled Maths Teacher to work in a focused and supportive school environment in Doncaster (DN5) starting from September 2026. This role is ideal for a teacher who can deliver structured and engaging Maths lessons while maintaining high expectations and supporting students to achieve their full potential.
About the Maths Teacher Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver high-quality Maths lessons across a range of abilities, helping pupils build confidence, problem-solving skills, and strong mathematical understanding. You will maintain clear routines, encourage positive behaviour, and create a productive learning environment that supports academic success.
Key Responsibilities as Maths Teacher
- Structured Maths Teaching: Deliver engaging and well-planned Maths lessons tailored to student needs.
- Classroom Management: Maintain positive behaviour, routines, and high expectations within the classroom.
- Targeted Support: Provide additional guidance and intervention to support student progress and attainment.
- Progress Monitoring: Assess, monitor, and track pupil achievement and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and school leaders to support student development.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Maths within mainstream, SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision settings is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A positive, organised, and resilient approach to teaching.
- An enhanced DBS on the updated service or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
