Workshop Recruitment is working with a well-established specialist joinery business in Maidstone seeking a skilled Bench Joiner to join their craftsmanship-focused team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Bench Joiner or Cabinet Maker who enjoys working on bespoke, varied projects from manufacture through to installation.

The successful Bench Joiner will work and create high-end in-frame cabinetry and fitted furniture within a supportive and professional environment. This permanent role offers long-term stability, quality projects, and the chance to develop your skills further.

Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture bespoke in-frame cabinetry and fitted furniture
  • Assemble high-quality kitchens and joinery products
  • Operate woodworking machinery and CNC-driven routers safely
  • Use manual and powered hand tools to a high standard
  • Read and interpret technical drawings accurately
  • Ensure all work meets quality and finish expectations
  • Work independently and collaboratively within the workshop team
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous experience as a Bench Joiner or Cabinet Maker
  • Proven background in bench joinery and cabinetry manufacture
  • Experience producing and installing fitted furniture or kitchens
  • Competent using woodworking machinery and hand tools
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • Spray finishing experience advantageous
  • Provide 2 x sources of references.
