Key Responsibilities
- Handle a caseload of personal injury cases, financial loss engagement including contractual and shareholder disputes, business interruption/lost profits, and fraud investigations.
- Preparation of forensic accountant reports, ensuring they accurately present the analysis, findings, and conclusions.
- Prepare financial models, cash flow analysis, and other analyses to support business valuations and damage assessments.
- Regularly communicate with key stakeholders, including solicitors and claimants, to ensure smooth handling of cases.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing solicitors and clients while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Represent the firm in meetings with clients and other stakeholders, particularly within Northern Ireland.
- Stay updated on legal and technical changes that may impact cases, ensuring compliance and relevance.
- Assist in shaping the strategic direction of the Forensic Accounting Division.
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities for the firm.
- Support the partner with complex assignments, helping to identify and recommend the best approaches for investigative work.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CA qualified with strong forensic accounting experience, ideally with experience in personal injury cases.
- Demonstrable technical expertise in forensic accounting, with a focus on valuations, investigations, and litigation support.
- Proven experience managing complex, high-value cases, with a track record of delivering successful outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills for internal team collaboration and client interaction.
