Role Overview
Your new company is a growing business and a market leader within its sector, working across the UK and Ireland. They are looking for a Management Accountant to join their successful Finance team based in Belfast.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month and year‑end reporting and support group interactions.
- Assist with external audits, VAT/Tax/Customs returns, and company cashflow forecasting.
- Prepare management accounts, reconcile balance‑sheet accounts, and provide cost visibility to managers.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecast deadlines, and VAT returns.
- Collaborate with external auditors and ensure effective ABL facility management.
Required Qualifications
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Proficiency in financial accounting up to trial balance and preferably in preparing management accounts.
- Highly skilled in Excel (pivot tables and lookups).
- Experience with finance systems, processes, and accounting principles.
- Ability to work in a busy, high‑pressure finance environment with exceptional attention to detail.
