Overview
Accounts Manager – Belfast Practice. Hybrid role with a 1pm Friday finish, no audit or travel commitments. Requires 2 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client(s).
- Understand client queries, propose solutions, and delegate and oversee responses.
- Review (with some preparation) and submit year‑end company financial statements.
- Prepare and present management accounts.
- Review self‑assessment tax returns and corporation tax returns.
- Provide general tax advice with support from the tax department.
- Oversee training and development of junior staff as line manager for the accounts team.
- Manage a small team of five.
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years PQE.
- Highly organised.
- Experience managing client deadlines and portfolios.
