As an Accountant reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be immersed in a varied and dynamic position. You will be responsible for delivery of monthly management accounts, budget and forecasting processes, and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead initiatives in developing reporting systems, enhancing data analytics, and improving internal controls.
  • Be involved in year‑end audit processes, analysing working capital, and driving improvements across the finance function.
Qualifications
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with post‑qualification experience.
  • Proven experience with accounting and finance systems, as well as advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong understanding of best practice accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Analytical mindset, problem‑solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ideally, experience in engineering, construction, or manufacturing industry (not essential).
