The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and community-minded PCV-licensed driver to join our Charity of I Can & I Am. We visit schools on board converted double decker buses working with children and young people across the South West in schools within an hour's drive of the Bath area. On board, we run cooking workshops in the specially converted downstairs of the bus and then workshops educating young people on self-belief in the comfortable seating area on the top deck of the bus.
This is a unique and rewarding role combining:
- Driving our double decker bus to schools
- Helping support activities on board
- Assisting with setup and coordination
- Being part of a small, supportive team
This is not a standard commercial driving role and would particularly suit:
- Semi-retired bus or coach drivers
- Drivers seeking better work/life balance

The Role
- Drive one of the 3 double decker buses safely to locations across the South West
- Support with the cooking and wellbeing workshops delivered on board
- Help with setup and pack down
- Carry out routine vehicle checks
- Work closely with the I Can & I Am team and staff within the schools
- Help create a welcoming and positive environment for young people
Hours
- Part time Term time only, approx 2 days per week
- Weekday daytime hours
- Flexible working pattern depending on charity bookings
Essential Requirements
- PCV Category D licence
- Driver CPC
- Good driving record
- Comfortable driving a double decker vehicle
- Friendly, calm and dependable manner
Desirable
- Experience working with schools, community organisations or young people
- DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Practical or coordination experience
- Good communication skills
