RECenergy are recruiting experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers on behalf of a leading metering contractor operating across nationwide smart metering contracts.

Package & Earnings

  • £43,500 Basic Salary
  • OTE £60,000+
  • £25 bonus on your 6th meter
  • £12.50 per meter after 6 meters
  • Some districts require standby work (1 in 6 rota)
  • £230 standby payment
  • Saturday full day rate
  • Sunday call outs paid at £22ph door to door
  • £22ph for work completed after 8pm weekdays and after 5pm Saturdays

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30 (30 minutes travel included before and after working hours)

The Role

You will be responsible for installing and exchanging smart meters whilst delivering excellent customer service on every appointment. Engineers are expected to work safely, efficiently and professionally whilst maintaining high technical standards and compliance at all times.

  • CCN1 or CMA1
  • MET1
  • Minimum 18 months recent SMART metering experience on the tools
  • EUSR Registered
