Location: Barnsley Area. 6‑Month contract. Day rate £420‑£480 (Inside IR35).

Your New Company is a leading organisation delivering a range of highways and civil engineering schemes across South Yorkshire and is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Manager. The role will be part of a well‑established team managing multiple small‑scale highways projects and ensuring safe, efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Labour planning and resource coordination
  • Liaising with supply chain partners and main clients
  • Full project management from planning through to completion
  • Booking and coordinating Traffic Management
  • Ensuring all Health & Safety standards are met
  • Monitoring progress, maintaining documentation, and reporting updates
  • Conducting site visits to review progress and compliance
