Contract Type: Temporary

Hours: 37 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30

Pay Rate: £16.62 per hour

We are currently seeking an experienced Plumber - Band 6 (Sth) to join the Facilities Management and Building Services team based in Tyne and Wear. This is a temporary role supporting maintenance and repair works across a range of commercial and public sector buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair work
  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently
  • Ensure all work is completed to health & safety standards
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks
  • Work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing
  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance or building services
  • Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications
  • Good understanding of health & safety procedures
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
