This role is being advertised as Education Support Officer, but internally your job title will be Programmes Support. About Pinc: Pinc is an Independent Specialist College offering an inspiring and impactful approach to education and pathways into employment for neurodivergent young people, aged 16-24 years. Through creative study programmes based in galleries, museums and cultural venues across England and Wales, we help students develop confidence, skills and pathways into further education, higher education and meaningful careers. Our approach combines personalised learning, creativity, wellbeing and employability in environments designed to inspire ambition and possibility.

We are recruiting Programmes Support roles across several Pinc College campuses and creative learning environments, including London, Rochdale, Halifax, Bradford, Manchester and Birmingham. As Study Programme Support, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of a Pinc College campus, working closely with teachers, the Assistant Head of Programmes and the Head of Programmes to ensure students receive outstanding support. You will help create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment where students can access learning, regulate emotions and make meaningful progress towards their goals.

  • Experience supporting young people with SEND in education, youth work or similar settings
  • Strong interpersonal skills with patience, empathy and resilience
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to follow direction while working independently when required
  • A positive, collaborative approach to team working
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Confidence using basic IT systems and Microsoft Office tools
