Immediate requirement for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy engineering and logistics depot in Axminster. This is a hands-on warehouse role supporting goods in/out, shipping, stock control and general depot operations within a fast-paced engineering environment.
The Role
- Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch
- Loading/unloading trucks and lorries using pump trucks and warehouse equipment
- Shipping and booking goods out through internal systems
- Goods in duties, including booking stock in and putting parts away
- Inventory counts, stock control, and ERP / MRP system updates
- General warehouse housekeeping and depot support
The Person
- Previous warehouse/stores experience
- Experience within logistics, goods in/out or engineering stores
- ERP / MRP system experience is beneficial
- Forklift licence beneficial but not essential (full in-house training available)
- Strong organisational skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Available to start ASAP
