Duties
- Service, maintain, and repair a broad range of vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality and safety
- Conduct diagnostics and fault finding to identify issues accurately
- Complete larger mechanical repairs, such as wet belts and major components, as required
- Perform vehicle health checks and report additional work needed
- Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity targets
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, adhering to manufacturer standards
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or busy workshop environment
- MOT Tester licence (desirable, or willing to obtain)
- Confidence with more complex mechanical repairs preferable
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence
