The predicted salary is between 29000 - 31000 £ per year.

ctrg is looking for an Assembly Operator with experience within the automotive sector for a client based in Ebbw Vale, NP23 6PL.

Hourly rates: days and afternoons will be £13.99 per hour (potentially higher, depending on job role and skills). Candidates will need to work a 3-shift rotation of days, nights and afternoons - 37 hours per week, plus overtime available.

Ideally, candidates will have previous experience within mechanical assembly and be able to follow written and verbal instructions. Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace is essential.

Your duties will include as an Assembly Operator:

  • Assembling safety-critical products ensuring 100% accuracy
  • Assembly of medium to heavy components; candidates will need to be dexterous
  • Must be able to properly use and understand the required measurement equipment including tape measures, micrometres, and other tools as required by specific jobs
  • Experienced in the use of hand, power and air tools
  • Participate in the principles of teamwork
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
  • Must operate and perform at speeds necessary to meet production demand
  • Must be able to bend, reach, and stand for 8 hours
  • Hand and eye coordination
  • Read drawings
  • Must be able to work overtime when required
