Opportunity for the HGV Shift Supervisor:

We are currently recruiting for experienced PSV Shift Supervisors to join a well‑established and growing bus operator across depots in Worcestershire. These are excellent opportunities for skilled PSV professionals looking to step into or continue within a supervisory role in a structured, safety‑critical environment.

What you will do as HGV Shift Supervisor:

  • Lead and supervise workshop engineers and technicians
  • Ensure all vehicles are maintained to DVSA and company standards
  • Allocate work and manage shift productivity
  • Support compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with inspections, servicing schedules and defect management
  • Provide technical support and mentoring to the team
  • Maintain accurate workshop documentation and records

What you will need as HGV Shift Supervisor:

  • Fully qualified to level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in HGV maintenance
  • Previous experience in a PSV workshop environment
  • Supervisory or senior technician experience
  • Strong knowledge of DVSA standards and compliance
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage productivity and maintain high safety standards
