Casual Event Staff
Days: Every Sunday from 7th June - 13th September 2026
Time: 1pm - 5:30pm
Hourly Rate: £12.71
Location: Sanders Park, Bromsgrove, B61 7JW
Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Bromsgrove District Council for Event Stewards to support the Music in the Bandstand event programme in Sanders Park every Sunday. The successful candidate must hold a valid Passport and undergo a basic DBS check.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as Event Site Co‑ordinator
- Set up and pack away the bandstand area and seating
- Collect and return keys via access code system and lock the Pavilion at the end of each event
- Manage site access arrangements, including parking bollards and assist with overflow car park management
- Provide access to electrical power (2x standard sockets available)
- Ensure the park is left clean and tidy and carry out litter picking during performances
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are adhered to
- Perform banksman duties when required, directing vehicles during loading/unloading
- Welcome bands on arrival and act as the main on‑site contact
- Organised and dependable
- Confident communicating with performers and members of the public
- Awareness of Health & Safety procedures
- Comfortable with light manual handling (chairs, basic set‑up tasks)
- Able to work independently
