A respected multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Façade Consultant to lead and develop their Northern façade consultancy offering from their Manchester office. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Associate Façade Consultant with strong technical expertise in façade systems, cladding remediation and fire safety compliance to step into a senior leadership role within a growing national team.
The successful Associate Façade Consultant will play a key role in overseeing regional project delivery, mentoring consultants and supporting the continued growth of the façade and fire safety division.
The Associate Façade Consultant's Role
- Lead façade and cladding remediation projects across high-risk residential and mixed-use developments throughout the North of England and wider UK.
- Leading and managing a regional façade consultancy team.
- Overseeing façade remediation and external wall compliance projects.
- Managing technical reviews, contractor audits and design assessments.
- Supporting Building Safety Act and PAS9980 compliance matters.
- Carrying out site inspections and quality assurance reviews.
- Working closely with project management, surveying and fire consultancy teams.
- Managing client relationships and supporting business development activity.
- Providing technical leadership across cladding replacement schemes and live remediation works.
The Associate Façade Consultant should ideally have:
- 10+ years' experience within façade consultancy, engineering or construction.
- Strong knowledge of cladding systems, façade design and remediation works.
- Experience working on high-risk buildings and Gateway processes.
- Excellent understanding of Building Regulations and fire safety legislation.
- Membership with a relevant professional body such as RICS, CABE, IFE or similar.
- Strong commercial awareness and leadership capability.
- Excellent report writing and stakeholder management skills.
