Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a coordination link between the Design Department, Commercial Team, and Site Teams.
- Produce accurate and consistent project records, reports, and documentation.
- Liaise with client, government officials, consultants, and third parties throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in pre‑construction activities including preparation of Construction Management Plans and obtaining pre‑commencement permits and agreements.
- Conduct site surveys and reviews to identify potential risks, constraints, or design issues and report findings.
- Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour, supporting day‑to‑day site management.
- Prepare and issue progress reports for internal management and client review.
- Work with the Planning Manager to develop, implement, and monitor project programmes.
- Support risk management activities and maintain the Project Risk Register.
- Ensure delivery aligns with the company's Health & Safety Management System, escalating non‑conformances.
- Assist with design management activities and commercial procurement support.
You will have
- Degree ideally in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
- Experience in a main contractor environment supporting project delivery.
- Developing knowledge of construction disciplines including design coordination, procurement, programme management, and health & safety.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- IT literacy with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
