The Role
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
- Monitor cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
- Lead audits (internal and external) and liaise with auditors.
- Develop and improve financial processes, systems and controls.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members.
The Person
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role.
- Previous experience working in manufacturing, production or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
