Careermakers Recruitment are looking for an Assembly Operator for our ever-growing client based in the heart of Normanton, WF6.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble signage products, including structural components, face panels, brackets, and LED lighting systems.
  • Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications accurately.
  • Safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks.
  • Assist with fitting and wiring LED lighting where required.
  • Ensure all completed signage meets quality and finish standards.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times.

Candidate Requirements

  • Basic electrical knowledge or experience (e.g. wiring, LED systems, or similar) would be an advantage.
  • Strong practical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible, reliable, and willing to work overtime when required.
  • Positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality.
  • Ability to work confidently with hand tools.

Working Hours

Working hours will be Monday - Friday (alternating shifts: 7am - 3.30pm and 11am - 7.30pm), with a pay rate of £13-£14 per hour.
