Bennett & Game are representing a long-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy in Maidstone that is continuing to grow on the back of major regional commissions. This is an opportunity to join a practice working across genuinely varied, high-value schemes, from large-scale Residential and Civic developments to Commercial, Leisure and Education projects. This also includes the involvement in a landmark local regeneration project, allowing the successful candidate to leave a lasting impact on the local area.

For an Architectural Technologist, it offers the chance to work on projects that range from multi-million-pound refurbishments through to complex new-build developments, with real exposure across all RIBA stages and the backing of a collaborative technical team.

A competitive salary of up to 45,000 is on offer, alongside hybrid working, bonus schemes, generous annual leave, private healthcare, paid training and progression plans, plus sick pay insurance. The business is also flexible on level, meaning the role and title can be shaped around the experience of the right candidate.

Architectural Technologist Job Overview
  • Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages
  • Support the technical delivery of a variety of projects
  • Produce and review technical packages of information
  • Coordinate technical information with consultants and contractors
  • Develop compliant, buildable and well-detailed technical solutions
  • Assist with managing drawing packages through planning, technical design and construction stages
  • Ensure projects comply with UK building regulations and industry best practice
  • Work on various Residential, Commercial, Civic, Leisure and Education projects (Typically between the values of 1m to 20m)
Architectural Technologist Job Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
  • Several years' experience working within the industry
  • Strong Technical ability and exposure to RIBA Stages 4/5
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit
  • Have an understanding of Planning process and Regulations
  • Ability to manage workload across multiple projects
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and technically confident
  • Live within a commutable distance of Maidstone
