Role of a Fresh Produce Warehouse Operative:
- Unload containers safely and efficiently, handling items up to 12.5 kg
- Inspect and sort produce on arrival; record quantities and report any damage
- Use PPE and follow manual handling and health & safety procedures
- Pick and pack orders accurately to specifications
- Goods in, checking items and quality checks
Requirements for a Fresh Produce Warehouse Operative:
- Comfortable working in a cold environment
- Physically fit - heavy lifting is required
- Accurate and detail-oriented with the ability to work to picking targets
- Team player with good communication and basic numeracy
