Responsibilities- Lead the operational payroll team to deliver accurate payroll on time.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate and coordinate payroll activities.
- Onboard new clients onto payroll and provide ongoing support.
- Respond to client payroll queries and produce payroll reporting.
- Proven experience managing end‑to‑end payroll operations in a complex organisation.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation (HMRC, PAYE, NI, pensions, statutory payments).
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with payroll systems and Excel; comfortable working with large volumes and varied payroll cycles.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with BrightPay system is a bonus.
