Financial Accountant required for a Real Estate SME based in Altrincham. Your new company is an investment and development SME with a presence in Altrincham. They are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their finance function.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit investment reports, balance sheets, and detailed financial updates for individual stakeholders, while managing foreign currency risk, financial derivatives, and bank deposits.
  • Develop proposals to optimise long‑term returns on assets and enhance efficiency within existing banking structures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banking partners through the evaluation of cash and financial products on behalf of the client.
  • Manage and administer a residential property portfolio, appraise investment opportunities such as rights issues, and present clear summary recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Improve reporting processes by implementing Excel and Microsoft Power Suite automations, create new report formats to meet evolving business needs, manage payments and cash flow, and prepare management accounts for associated entities.
