Duties of a Service Advisor

  • Provide exceptional customer service as the primary point of contact for service clients
  • Book in vehicles and manage scheduling efficiently to ensure smooth workflow
  • Advise customers on necessary repairs and services, maintaining transparency to build trust
  • Liaise with workshop staff to ensure timely completion of repairs and services
  • Upsell additional services where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
  • Handle all customer interactions professionally, ensuring dealership standards are upheld
  • Maintain comprehensive records and manage follow-up tasks to promote customer retention

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor within a busy dealership or workshop environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and excellent customer service attributes
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Familiarity with Kerridge or similar dealership management systems is desirable but not essential
