An exciting opportunity has arisen within this leading, global manufacturer of machinery into the food and pharmaceutical industries for a Key Account Manager to join its growing team.
The Role
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue and long term profitability targets.
- Understand customer needs, challenges, and long term business goals to help influence innovation activities and ongoing continuous improvement focus.
- Analyse client data to identify trends, areas of improvement, problem machines or solutions and potential risks.
- Use insights to drive informed decision-making and enhance overall account management strategies.
- Monitor market and industry trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for account growth.
- Lead contract negotiations with key accounts, ensuring favourable terms for both parties.
- Address any disputes, escalations or challenges efficiently to maintain a positive client relationship.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, engineering and service teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Help to facilitate seamless communication between the client and relevant internal company departments.
The Person
- The ideal candidate will have experience of managing high value accounts within a machine manufacturing environment or similar.
- Experience of selling into the food and beverage (FMCG) or pharma industries would be a huge advantage.
