The Planet Group have recently been engaged by a market leader in the Aerospace industry who are looking for a number of Manufacturing Operator / Assemblers to join the team on an initial 3-month contract in Plymouth.

Rotating Shift Patterns: Mornings (06:30) & Afternoons (14:00) 25% Allowance

Key responsibilities will be:

  • Working in accordance with standard operating instructions, engineering drawings and product specifications
  • Loading the products onto local test rigs and running tests
  • Assembling and soldering pre‑mounted PCB boards
  • Soldering operations to involving soldering to IPC J standards (training will be supplied)
  • Assembling the PCB boards into mechanical housing

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 12 months+ manufacturing assembly experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The flexibility to work overtime
  • Basic IT skills required

We will also consider you if you have held a role in which high quality, accuracy, speed and dexterity are required to produce repeatable results. You must be eligible for BPSS (Baseline Clearance) to be considered for this position.
