We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a children's social services team. The OT will assess home environments, recommend adaptations and equipment, and support independence for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake assessments of referrals and evaluate needs related to access, safety and independence in the home.
- Support junior staff within the team.
- Complete reports and attend panels as required.
- Apply knowledge of the Care Act and Disabled Facilities Grants process.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience in social services or community OT settings
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Experience with children's services and adaptation planning
