A leading US law firm is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join its Europe Finance Team. The role supports UK and European accounting processes, working closely with the Accounting Manager and Supervisor to ensure accurate, timely and compliant financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Conduct reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
- Process e-invoicing, VAT compliance and tax submissions
- Support ad-hoc projects and process improvements across the finance team
Qualifications
- Prior accounting or finance support experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Confidence using Excel and financial software
