Company Overview

We are a specialist aviation company operating a fleet of Gazelle and Squirrel helicopters, as well as Augusta 109s and Bell 206s helicopters.

Role Summary

The Helicopter Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of Gazelle and Squirrel helicopters, ensuring all work is carried out to regulatory standards and manufacturer specifications. The role involves both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and will require close collaboration with flight operations and compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on Gazelle and Squirrel helicopters.
  • Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs in accordance with CAA regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
  • Ensure airworthiness and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Liaise with operations and compliance teams to coordinate maintenance schedules.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and safety audits.

Requirements

  • Recognised engineering qualification with type ratings or experience on Gazelle and/or Squirrel helicopters.
  • Proven experience in rotary-wing aircraft maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of aviation safety standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

  • Type-rated on both Gazelle and Squirrel helicopters.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Familiarity with UK CAA Part 145 regulations.
