Incorporating more than 120 years of cumulative experience and expertise in the engineering of continuously cast iron, United Cast Bar developed a synergy for technical and manufacturing procedures, quality systems, control parameters, commercial rationalization and supply logistics.
Based in our Cast Iron Foundry in Chesterfield, we are currently looking for talented individuals to join our team in our Machine Shop. The roles are full time and on a Permanent basis. Shift working on an x3 shift pattern Mon-Fri with overtime available.
The Role includes:
- General Milling / Turning / Cutting duties.
- Machinery and equipment basic maintenance.
- Health & Safety awareness.
- General housekeeping.
- Operate lifting equipment (crane, magnets & slinging).
Although not essential, successful candidates will ideally have experience in working in a heavy industry environment, but full on the job training will be given. If you have a good work ethic and are not afraid to get your hands dirty, we’d love to hear from you so please apply today!
