The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 ÂŁ per year.
You will be responsible for setting up and operating complex print machinery to produce printed caps, to the client’s order specification and timescales. You will use your technical judgement to optimise production, maintain machinery and to resolve production problems and improve performance.
- Adjust, repair or replace defective parts or materials.
- Maintain production and maintenance records.
- Perform colour changes including relevant paperwork.
- Perform routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical maintenance on cap printing machine.
- Perform “Process Inspection” as outlined in SOP. Inspect product to the relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
- Be responsible for any “Hazards” to product safety, i.e. Pest, sharps, oil, glass, hard plastic. (Hazard Analysis).
- Adhere to “Good Manufacturing Practice” principles.
- Ensure work area is clean, tidy and free of spillage of Material, Masterbatch, Ink, Oil and Water.
Monday to Friday - Days or potentially 2 shift rotation, days and afternoon.
