As Security Systems Manager, you will be responsible for managing planned preventative maintenance and installation projects across your portfolio. This role is hybrid working, with visits to sites in the south of England and meetings at CIS Head Office or our London based offices as required.
The role’s main function is to manage planned preventative maintenance and projects through conducting on-site surveys, client meetings, auditing service partners and attending SLA meetings.
This role is well suited to a project engineer looking to move into their first management role; you will be joining an experienced team that will provide on-the-job training and mentoring.

- Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
- Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Role:
- Manage customer expectations and develop a lasting relationship.
- Manage and create supply chain relationships.
- Conduct ‘onsite’ surveys and produce comprehensive quotations and specification documents.
- Accurately price jobs and analyse profitability.
- Identify the physical resources needed for project completion.
- Ensure all information and equipment needed by engineers is made available – site plans, drawings, project minutes and specific information e.g., operational challenges, health and safety implications.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is complete i.e., risk assessments, method statements, operation, and maintenance manuals.
- Management maintenance team ensuring project is completed within the time frame and to budget, via SLA documents and meetings.
- Manage resources and budgets to implement projects within allotted time frames.
- Work with stakeholders effectively, communicating on all platforms, managing timelines.
- Support CIS Bids Team with tender opportunities.
Job Requirements:
- Experience of Access Control, CCTV Systems and Intruder Systems is a must. You must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Possess a clear criminal record with zero convictions of any kind and meet the requirements to pass a CRB /DBS check and the full screening process required in the security industry.
- Applicants must have technical experience of electronic security systems, be able to identify onsite security issues and design industry-compliant systems which mitigate risk and meet customer expectations.
- Be prepared to travel as part of the role & responsibilities.
- Be personable and able to communicate professionally at all levels.
- Be able to work under pressure, being flexible and adaptive to situations.
- Be well-organised and maintain excellent time management in both personal punctuality and delivery of work.
- Be able to work as well in a team or independently.
- Be self-motivated, and both technically and logically adept at problem-solving.
