A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Supervisor to join our team at a landmark development in Fitzrovia. Representing CIS Security as a trusted ambassador, you will support the management team in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the security service across this flagship site. This major project provides over 139,000 sq. ft. of cutting‑edge office space in the city’s growing Knowledge Quarter, alongside high‑quality facilities designed to create a safe, welcoming, and professional environment.

As part of the security team, your core objective will be to safeguard the site, protect property, and uphold the safety and wellbeing of all visitors, members, and tenants in line with established procedures.

Job Requirements
  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence required
  • Proven background in leading a security operational start‑up of a new building, including implementation of procedures, systems and team structures.
  • Lead the security team on a new greenfield site, ensuring all operational requirements are established and delivered effectively
  • Work with the Account Management team in assisting with AIs, designing SOPs and leading training of the team on various systems and procedures on site
  • Work closely with the Client to ensure an open, proactive and productive working environment with Security Services and other Service Partners
  • Be genuinely invested in the successful functioning of the building, with a “One Team” approach across all Service Partners
  • Be proactive, always looking for areas of improvement

Job Responsibilities
  • Deploy the security team to ensure a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site as required by the customer
  • Maintain the highest standards of customer care when dealing with staff and visitors to the site
  • Ensure all security personnel adhere to duties and policies and report any breach immediately to the security manager
  • Assist the Account Management Team in all areas and maintain a close working relationship
  • Understand the site specification and monitor activity frequencies to meet customer expectations
  • Maintain confidentiality and build a good reputation with the customer
  • Respond to customer communication in a professional and timely manner
  • Supervise the team ensuring all officers follow site procedures in line with the customer’s requirements
  • Check the handover at the beginning of each shift to verify vital details are carried out
  • Make informed decisions under pressure
  • Liaise with external authorities and services as required; build and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Maintain the daily occurrence book and relevant reports
  • Ensure staff wear correct uniform, PPE, and are regularly briefed
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents including fire and intruder alarms and assist with evacuation of buildings when necessary
  • Maintain morale and discipline within the team, considering their welfare
  • Identify training needs for staff and provide feedback to line management
  • Take a proactive approach to increasing services offered to the customer
  • Complete training documentation and records
  • Ensure changes to site operations are referenced and included in assignment instructions; staff must sign as having read and understood
  • Set and maintain the highest personal and professional standards; adopt a total quality approach
  • Proactively monitor and maintain staff discipline, standards and conduct
  • Monitor performance, conduct annual appraisals in line with company policy and encourage personal development
  • Audit site equipment and ensure paperwork is correctly maintained
  • Attend required meetings with customer and line management to support consistent quality service delivery
  • Submit timesheets, holiday and sickness forms within given timescales
  • Liaise with the team to ensure they are aware of any changing contract requirements and are briefed regularly
  • Carry out reasonable requests made by CIS management
  • Be flexible in the approach to daily duties
