A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer who will work in various sites in the Hackney Area, demonstrating and delivering high-quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users. We require Officers to be SIA licensed and willing to work in environments such as local government buildings, estates, and corporate sites, and be able to stand for long periods. Officers must be flexible in hours and in their approach to daily duties.
Information:
- Position: Security Response Officer
- Location: Various sites within Hackney
- Pay Rate: £13.15 per hour
- Hours: Guaranteed 24 hours per week - Average 40 hours per week
- Shifts: Various days, nights & weekends
Job Role / Requirements:
- SIA Licence required
- Security experience is required
- Must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends, and have the flexibility to change due to operational needs at very short notice
- Must have a good command of the English language
- Good communication both written & verbal
- Good levels of customer service at all times
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site
- Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties - long periods of standing, patrolling, reception duties, access control, lock-ups
- First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonus
- Must have five years of checkable work history
- Must have the ability to travel around Hackney

- Able to demonstrate and deliver high-quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Able to work in a team as well as independently
- Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
- Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk for extended periods when required
- Confident in writing incident and shift reports
- The ability to be proactive and think on your feet using initiative
- To have a smart appearance befitting the company
- Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties
- Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested
