The Public Realm Officer is responsible for the safety and security of external areas within the contract. Officers play a vital role in the 24/7 operations at a landmark destination known for luxury residences, five-star hospitality, and premium retail.
About The Role
- Position: Public Realm Officer
- Location: London (W2)
- Pay Rate: £15.30 per hour
- Hours: Average 42 hours per week
- Shifts: 4 On 4 Off – Days
Job Requirements
- SIA Door Supervisor License
- Minimum of 2 years security experience
- Experience in a hotel or high-end residential setting
- Diplomatic and robust approach with the public; decision-making skills
- Physical fitness for outdoor patrols
- Experience in security risk assessment and physical security planning
- Time management and organizational skills
- Excellent personal presentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and conflict management
- Basic IT knowledge
- Flexible approach to duties and events
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Calm personality capable of managing difficult situations
- Ability to undertake all specific duties and provide necessary documentation
Responsibilities
- Maintain good customer service relationships with staff, visitors, and management
- Manage effective relationships, representing CIS-Security
- Detect, disrupt, and deter offenders; enforce laws
- Collaborate with police and community safety partners
- Reduce crime fear and provide reassurance through public liaison
- Conduct education and awareness patrols

- Assist in investigations and conflict resolution
