CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Corporate Security Officer in a education campus who will be an ambassador to represent CIS Security who will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users
Job Details
- Position: Security Officer
- Location: Harrow
- Pay Rate: £13.85 per hour
- Hours: Average 44.5 hours per week
- Shifts: Monday to Friday 1700 to 1130, Sat 2000 to 0800
Job Role / Requirements
- SIA Licence required
- Security and customer service experience is required
- Must be flexible and be able to work; days, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needs
- Must have good command of English language
- Good levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all times
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
- Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas
- Flexible in the approach to daily duties
- First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonus
- Must have five years of checkable work history
About You
- Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.
- Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
- Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
- Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift
- Confident in writing incident and shift reports
- The ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
- To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.
- To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
- The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, Conducting emergency procedures. You will be part of a team seeing this site through from refurbishment to business as usual and must be comfortable working on a construction site moving into an office environment.
