CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Corporate Security Officer who will be an ambassador to represent CIS Security who will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users. Situated near Fenchurch Street and having been a part of the City Skyline for several decades, this building was recently remodelled to give it new clarity and identity to reposition it as somewhere for legal, media and tech sector occupiers. Information: Position: Corporate Security Officer Location: London (EC3R) Pay Rate: £14.15 per hour Hours: Average 42 hours per week Shifts: 4 On 4 Off – Days & Nights Job Role / Requirements: SIA Licence required 5* Corporate Security, Concierge or Front of House experience for at least 1 year an advantage Ex forces would be an advantage Must be flexible and be able to workdays, nights, weekends and have the flexibility to change due to operational needs Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service at all times Must have an excellent command of English Language & Good IT Skills Reliable, Responsible and Punctual A friendly, professional, courteous and outgoing character To take pride in your appearance at all times, ensuring immaculate presentation Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site. First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence are desirable About You: Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users. Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift Confident in writing incident and shift reports To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language. To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded. Have the IT skills and the ability to understand and use varied Access Control and CCTV systems and platforms / integrated systems (Lots of sites use different Systems) Have the ability to write emails and reply to emails in the correct manner and speak, very important in Corporate Industry. Have the ability to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels. Able to understand Corporate Escalation Process, – Escalate and Disseminate information in a timely manner to the correct personnel in the event or during an emergency or Incident on site. The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, Conducting emergency procedures. All faults that arise which relate to the security systems or any security exposure is to be reported to the DSM, Property Management team or IT Manager. The integrity of the premises is maintained and strict access to the Property Management premises is controlled in accordance with agreed procedures. To be familiar with the assignment instructions and any amendments and to undertake all duties in accordance with these instructions. To provide a high profile security presence throughout the building at regular and random intervals and identify areas of security risk To ensure that high value items such as Laptop computers, mobile phones etc.; that are left unattended, are taken into safe keeping To provide early warning of the risk of flood or other damage to the building To report on fire safety risks, faulty firefighting equipment and obstructed fire escape routes Record-keeping of visitor\’s entry / exit of the building via the Visitors Pass Log. Direct couriers to the right place. Security to liaise with the Property Management team regarding visitors/clients, security should know beforehand where they are going and who they are here to see. Answer the switchboard. Monitor exterior of building outside foyer for hostile reconnaissance. Keep the front reception desk clean and tidy at all times.
