We are looking for a 5* ambassador to represent CIS Security who will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users. This ambassador will need to be open/strong minded, professional, confident and who is able to work in a team environment. This building welcomes you into a generous reception lounge and central atrium, while above, 265,000 square feet of superior office space is spread over nine beautifully finished floors.

Information:

  • Position: Corporate Security Officer
  • Location: Paddington, Central London (W2)
  • Pay Rate: £13.15 per hour
  • Hours: Average 56 hours per week
  • Shifts: Days & Nights – 6 on 3 off (Week 1: 6 days, 3 off – Week 2: 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off)

Job Requirements:

  • SIA Licence is required
  • 5* Hotel, Concierge or Front of House experience for at least 1 year an advantage.
  • Security experience required of at least 2 years.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service at all times.
  • Must have an excellent command of English Language & good IT Skills.
  • Reliable, Responsible, Attentive, Observant, and Punctual.
  • A friendly, professional, courteous, and outgoing character.
  • To take pride in your appearance at all times, ensuring immaculate presentation.
  • Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
  • CCTV and First Aid qualification will be ideal.

This position will include patrolling, standing in the reception lobby greeting all who come in, signing visitors in, reception cover, engaging with all using your common sense, assisting access control, loading bay duties, dealing with contractors & couriers, taking part in the evacuation process, experience with fire panel and dealing with emergency situations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users.
  • Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative.
  • To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
  • Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift.
  • To always portray a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.
  • Have the IT skills and the ability to understand and use varied Access Control and CCTV systems and platforms.
  • Have the ability to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels.
  • Able to understand Corporate Escalation Process, – Escalate and Disseminate information in a timely manner to the correct personnel in the event or during an emergency or Incident on site.
