Position Information
Senior Barista
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Barista / Supervisor to join our team at Albidaa.
The ideal candidate will have strong specialty coffee knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the confidence to support the smooth running of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare consistently high-quality espresso and other coffee beverages
- Maintain high standards of coffee quality and presentation
- Support and train baristas and new team members
- Supervise shifts and coordinate the team during service
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer concerns professionally
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation
- Monitor stock levels and support ordering and weekly stock checks
- Complete opening and closing procedures, including end-of-day cash-up
- Support management with the day-to-day operation of the café
About You
- Previous barista experience is essential
- Specialty coffee experience is preferred
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is desirable
- Reliable, organised and able to take responsibility
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Flexible availability, including weekends
