The predicted salary is between 28650 - 42000 £ per year.
We are looking for an experienced full-time Head Barista who is passionate about specialty coffee to work and grow with us as we expand our operations. This role will require someone who is confident in delivering the highest standards in coffee service at a fast pace whilst retaining a friendly and positive work environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality of coffee at Fantail through training staff, maintenance of equipment, and continual review and improvement of our offering. Specialty barista skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the highest standards in coffee service.
- Maintain coffee quality through staff training and equipment maintenance.
- Proactively mentor and train new team members.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all sites.
- Manage stock of beans, milk, and consumables.
- Adapt recipes based on feedback and performance.
- Engage with customers and enjoy customer-facing interactions.
Qualifications
- Extensive Barista experience with specialty coffee.
- Skilled at latte art.
- Ability to run a busy service of 200-300 coffees a day.
- Knowledgeable about different coffee brewing methods.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Information
- Required to work on average 1 day every weekend.
- Salary dependent on experience.
- 28 days annual leave per calendar year inclusive of bank holidays, plus a day off on your birthday.
- 3 month probationary period.
- 50% off all food for lunch and free coffee on shift.
- Discount on all retail products.
