Bring Order to Performance
Are you someone who naturally brings order to complexity? Do you take pride in knowing exactly where every part is, what condition it's in, and whether it's race-ready?
At United Autosports, precision off the track is just as important as performance on it.
We're looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Stores & Trackside Spares Co-ordinator to take ownership of our Customer Racing Programme spares operation, ensuring every component is accurately controlled, fully traceable, and ready when the team needs it most.
The Role
As our Stores & Trackside Spares Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the complete management of our race parts inventory, both within the workshop and at race events around the world.
Working closely with mechanics, engineers, purchasing and suppliers, you'll ensure that every component is correctly identified, stored, documented and available exactly when required.
Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will play a vital role in keeping our race operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete parts inventory, ensuring all components are correctly labelled, located, traceable and maintained in the correct condition.
- Maintain accurate stock records through regular cycle counts, reconciliations and inventory control.
- Prepare event spares kits, freight crates and load lists with exceptional accuracy.
- Monitor and record parts usage during race events, ensuring stock systems remain up to date in real time.
- Liaise with purchasing, suppliers and engineering teams regarding orders, shortages, superseded parts and return-to-manufacturer (RMA) processes.
- Manage quarantine stock, non-conforming components and quality documentation.
- Maintain clean, organised and audit-ready workshop stores and trackside spares areas.
- Support mechanics and engineers by identifying parts, confirming component history and ensuring complete traceability.
- Continuously improve stores processes, organisation and stock accuracy.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys structure, thrives on organisation and understands that attention to detail can make the difference between success and failure on race weekend.
You'll ideally have
- Experience within motorsport stores, parts, logistics, warehousing or inventory management.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience using stock management or inventory systems.
- The ability to prioritise and remain calm whilst working under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work closely with engineers, mechanics, suppliers and the wider race team.
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining the highest operational standards.
- Flexibility to travel and support the team at race events throughout the season.
What We Offer
We believe in rewarding our people and supporting their wellbeing both inside and outside of work. As part of the United Autosports team, you'll benefit from:
- 25 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays.
- Company pension scheme.
- Life assurance providing 2x annual salary.
- Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), offering 24/7 confidential support, wellbeing resources and counselling services.
- Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) for qualifying additional hours worked.
- Opportunities to travel internationally and be part of world-class motorsport events.
- A collaborative, high-performance team environment where every role contributes to success on track.
- Ongoing opportunities for learning, development and career progression.
