About the Role
As the No1 Mechanic in our Customer Racing LMP2 / GT3 programme, you will be responsible for leading the mechanical preparation, build quality and trackside execution of your car. You will direct the No2 Mechanics, collaborate closely with engineers, and ensure every mechanical component is built, fitted and verified to the highest possible standard. This is a leadership role on the garage floor. Your standards become the car’s performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the full build, strip and mechanical preparation of the car.
- Supervising No2 Mechanics and supporting their development.
- Ensuring all work is completed to engineering specification, torque settings and build procedures.
- Managing mechanical repairs, assembly changes and fault rectification under time pressure.
- Maintaining build sheets, documentation, version control and component traceability.
- Working directly with the Race Engineer to support setup changes and mechanical adjustments.
- Running pitstop responsibilities and ensuring the pit crew operates at elite standard.
- Maintaining an immaculate, organised working environment and tool control.
- Ensuring all safety and regulatory procedures are followed without exception.
What You’ll Bring
