We are looking for a commercially astute, strategically minded finance leader with 10-15+ years of progressive experience across complex, fast-paced environments. Youll need to bring more than technical accuracy this role demands someone who can see the bigger picture, influence it, and help shape what comes next for the business.
Youll have a track record of driving financial performance, supporting leadership teams with clear insight, and building high-functioning finance teams that go beyond reporting to add real value. Youll be confident managing global financial operations with experience handling multiple currencies (particularly EUR and USD), cross-border banking, and navigating international VAT regimes. A deep understanding of multi-entity structures, intercompany processes, and the operational realities of delivering programmes across jurisdictions is critical. Experience of the Motorsport, Endurance racing specifically is preferential.
Overall Purpose of the Role:
The Finance Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership of the finance function, ensuring robust financial management, driving commercial decision-making, and enhancing financial visibility across the business to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the finance function, ensuring effective financial planning, reporting, and control.
– Develop and implement financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
– Provide strategic financial insight to the Board and Senior Leadership Team.
– Ensure financial governance, compliance, and risk management.
– Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
– Lead, develop, and support the finance team.
– Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation.
– Act as a key contributor to commercial and strategic decision-making.
– Making payments where required
You will be the main point of contact for our banks and be accountable for authorising all payments.
Experience and Skills Required:
– Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with senior finance leadership experience.
