Job overview and responsibilities
- Supervisory oversight of Cargo operations handling agents across multiple stations, countries and continents.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements (FAA, TSA, UA & country‑specific) within a safe environment.
- Certifying all training needs are completed on time and that operational procedures are followed.
- Maintaining the best quality of service for the safety and security of UA & of our clients.
- Oversight of Cargo operations handling agents across multiple cities, countries and regions.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements for all recognized authorities and for UA.
- Line management for vendor and UA‑own staff, working in stations in multiple cities/countries/continents.
- Coordinating with GHAs, external regulatory officials and UA staff for completions of all quality, safety & security audits, reviews and corrective actions.
- Monitor performance of GHAs in stations covered.
- Developing corrective action plans to address any quality issues and ensure adherence to UA procedures.
- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and QBRs.
- Active involvement with vendor selection and onboarding during RFPs.
- Proactive participation in all aspects of preparation for tender, negotiation with potential service providers and selection of successful supplier.
- Pivotal involvement with new station start ups/seasonal reopening.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders for timely readiness of stations prior to opening dates.
- Interactive with internal stakeholders & colleagues.
- Sharing of best practice and ensuring understanding of customer requirements and pairing supplier capability.
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time‑limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Qualifications

- Freight forwarding and logistics services.
- Driving License.
- 3 years' experience in operations, cargo or warehousing.
- IT literate.
- Ability to work with own initiative.
- Able to multi‑task.
- Legal right to live and work in the UK.
- Must be legally authorized to work in United Kingdom for any employer without sponsorship.
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
